Awakening – WPC

I think some of my followers might have noticed I hardly found time to post lately. I also received the honor of a couple nominations for blogging awards.. they made me happy and I’m very grateful for every single one. At this point I just can’t respond to all of them.

And I admit the thought of just quitting my blog; at least for a while had crossed my mind. But I decided not to.

Rainy season might be back sooner than I’d like ..and I know I will be glad to spend some of the rainy days writing.

Let’s get to this week’s  picture challenge: Awakening. Here in tropical climate we don’t have the typical spring awakening. However, there’s always some plants or trees waking up, blooming, developing fruits – the whole year around.

I chose one of my flowers : torch Lily (etlingera).. one fully opened and the other just awakening.20180413_073307

    I noticed you’ve been missing for a while, and I’m glad to hear you didn’t quit this blog. However, I understand life, and I wish you all the best. Hopefully, you find the right balance soon.

    1. Thank you so much …And now I’m touched. Someone actually noticed my absence. It has several reasons .. nothing to worry about though. It’s mainly busy dry season ..And that we had to change to a smaller, limited data plan. Still trying my best to keep going ☺Thanks for the well wishes 😇

    1. Thank you ☺and I hope you get some warm weather soon. It has been so hot here the last days and I’ve been working outside a lot.. (there was so much I wanted to get done in case it would rain) that my face is slightly sunburned now 😅🔥

  7. It is hard to keep a routine of blogging because life will always get in the way. This is the third time I have started a blog, I do like how WordPress is more of a community type of platform, the other ones I tried were not. Just finding the time to sit and write can be hard work at times because there is always something else wanting your time and attention. Awesome picture and nice writing, just write and post on your own schedule.
